Are you frustrated because you’re posting on social media every day, running ads, sending emails and your marketing just isn’t seeming to work? I’ve been there. Here are a few tips for you to get that marketing to pull:

  1. Facebook posts need to be well-thought-out. You really need a content strategy that combines engaging posts with sales posts. It can be as simple as purchasing a $5 planner at the store and writing out when you’ll schedule posts to go, or using Facebook’s creator studio (a free scheduling tool.)
  2. Facebook ads must engage. Moms have a soft spot for happy, smiling kids. A mom’s favorite pictures of her child are the ones where the child looks happy and mom feels like she’s doing something right. So, whether it’s stock photos or photos in your gym, pick the most happy, genuine smiles you can find. (Team photos are OK, but I find they don’t pull as well because there is so much to look at versus two kids, arm in arm smiling as if they’re best friends.)
  3. Email marketing is all about the content. If your subject line doesn’t get them to open the email, then they’ll never see all the great stuff you’re talking about and offering them. Make sure you pick a subject line that excites or intrigues someone. If you’re not great at creating those, HERE is a website that will help you. (Yeah….you’ll have to play with it a bit and be creative, but it can definitely help if you get stuck!)
