I hope you had an amazing first week of 2022. A lot of people who set goals and resolutions on Jan 1 have already broken those. Once, Justin set a resolution to not drink Dr. Pepper for a whole year. He made it a whole 14 hours. It wasn’t that he intentionally went against his goal. He did, however, forget he had made the goal and inadvertently reached for the soda rather than the water bottle. 

I think that happens to us more often than not. Instead of purposely sabotaging ourselves, we just sort of forget what our intentions were. We get wrapped up in the day-to-day chaos of daily life and forget to look to the future. 

As I’m writing this, I have had the busiest day I’ve experienced in the last month. Maybe two months. It has been hectic from one thing to the next. I’ve got it written down though what my goal was for today. I’m committed to finishing up everything I set out to do by the end of the day with minimal distractions. If that’s something you struggle with, maybe some accountability would help.
