In 2013, I cleaned bathrooms.ย 

I returned all voicemails and emails.

I unlocked the gym every day and set out the mats.ย 

I bought the bags of chips and bottles of water and stocked them.

I tagged and folded every t-shirt.

I spent my days cleaning and my nights coaching.

Then I sat back one day and wondered why I couldnโ€™t hire someone else to do those things above and focus my efforts on marketing my business, connecting with customers and attending purposeful networking events.ย 

So I did.ย 

I used my military knowledge to create checklists and instructions.ย 

It turns out these were called โ€œsystemsโ€.ย 

I then trained the staff on the systems.

I refocused my efforts on bigger things. Our gym exploded. I had 350 kids by the end of our first year.
